Greetings
One of the main topics of the previous 6 Preventive Nutrition Congresses held in
Israel was the advantage of The Mediterranean diet. Since many questions remain
unsolved, we proposed to many friends from Italy, Spain, France, Greece, Turkey, Egypt
and other countries from the area to organize the first Mediterranean Club Congress on Nutrition and Metabolism, obviously focusing on issues like percentage and type of carbohydrates, fat and protein in the healthy and in the obese/diabetic patient. The idea was received with enthusiasm and we decided like every year to unify the forces and give the opportunity to this large group to discuss the best diet, the best prevention of endothelial dysfunction, the role of olive oil and fish oil and mainly how to improve the elemetary habits of our citizens all around the Mediterranean Sea.
The unity around this magic sea is not only made from beautiful landscapes but also from eating habits and quality of life. Comparing these habits and creating a network that could help to improve the daily life is one of our goals.
Come and join us in this first incredible opportunity delving into the realities and the theories of Mediterranean diet, meet with colleagues from neighboring countries, discuss different therapeutic opportunities and present your experiences.
Tel Aviv is celebrating its 100th anniversary and this is a wonderful opportunity to associate scientific experience with a visit to the White City preserved by UNESCO for its incredible number of Bauhaus buildings next to the Mediterranean Sea.
Too many reasons not to miss the occasion….
